Arvid Frøsland rapporterer om gode Iberia-conds den 15.mai, mens
det i Finland ble notert E-skip mot Italia allerede 7.mai. Selv
har jeg ikke hørt noe enda, om det skyldes fravær av conds vet
jeg ikke sikkert, for jeg har måttet være barnevakt ofte i det
siste (Paula holder på med sine avsluttende eksamener på
Høyskolen i Stavanger). Mer tid til DXing blir det i juni, så
da håper jeg det blir noen skikkelige topper...

Neon Country Radio starts on Monday May 26th and will broadcast contemporary country music 24 hours a day, including specialist programs featuring Scottish and Irish artists and a Line Dance "Spectacular" on 106.2 FM and should be available in and around the area of Glasgow. The launch date has been set to coincide with the Glasgow's Big Country Festival.

In FM News logs are now prefixed by a two character country code. The country code is according to the ISO 3166 standard. Last year it was agreed that these codes should replace the old 1 to 3 character country codes, however, not all countries have decided when to start using the new codes. Those interested can download the file containing the codes from ftp://ftp.ripe.net/ripe/docs/iso3166-codes . (Editor)
Those who have a PC (with CDROM) might want to check out the maps from Route 66. They have very detailed road maps for several European countries. One of the useful features of the program is the ability to search for a particular town, this should male it easier to locate small Italian or French towns. The maps are relatively inexpensive.
